Furniture For A Cause opened in March 2004 as an additional source of revenue for the many programs SAMMinistries provides to the homeless of San Antonio. Since 1983, SAMMinistries has been helping our community with emergency shelter, transitional housing and programs that help entire families become self-sufficient by providing shelter, access to meals and medical care through our collaborating partners. We offer life skills training classes to educate them about issues such as parenting, fiscal responsibility, time management and many other valuable resources.
Each piece of furniture donated to Furniture For A Cause is sold to benefit homeless men, women and children who need our support to get back on their feet with dignity and hope. To learn more about the specific programs that your donation is contributing to, visit www.samm.org.
